Parents – Help with Maths!
Have you ever been stuck helping your child complete their Maths homework? Many parents tell me that the methods children use in school are now so different to the way they were taught at school… well, you’re right! Things have changed but the methods you hear your children talk about are actually quite simple. Heathfield School in Bolton has a few YouTube videos that explain different methods used in Maths.

Ancient Egypt Display Day: Afternoon Task
This is your ICT task for this afternoon.
Board games were very common in ancient Egypt and people from all levels of society played them. Many game boards from ancient Egypt have been found by archaeologists. However, the rules explaining how to play these games have not survived. By studying game boards and other evidence, experts have made some educated guesses about how these games were played.

Join the expedition to explore an Egyptian tomb. You will need to decipher hieroglyphs and examine various artefacts including a mummy.
